𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 [ 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒙 ]
summary — it’s been a long, grueling week. he’s not seen you in a few days, and it doesn’t take much for you to figure out how much he’s missed you.
warnings — gn!jedi!reader, spicy but not smutty spicy, implied smut, gonna go ahead and say MDNI just to be safe, also crap writing because it’s been basically a year since i’ve written anything
𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒. it’d been 5 days since you saw anything other than the dirt and dust of ryloth. battle after battle, negations turning into another battle, and after a while you wondered why you even came with obi-wan. all you wanted to do was eat and sleep, preferably with your favorite commander.
commander fox was a private man. he kept everything to himself, including you. did his brothers know about you? of course they did, but they weren’t aware of anything else. and they wouldn’t be. after 5 days of not seeing you and hearing very little from you, fox was growing antsy. he’d never admit it out loud, but he missed you, terribly so. there was an ache in his chest that was waiting to be heard.
after your time on ryloth, and after hitting the ‘freshers, you made your way to the coruscant prison. every step you made towards the entrance was filled with electricity; the excitement was bubbling in your gut. you tried not to seem too excited, but you couldn’t help it. you walked in, and upon seeing that fox wasn’t in the front, you cocked your head to the side.
“fox finally get tired of prison work?” you asked the commander at the viewport. thire chuckled, shaking his head.
“thank the maker you’re here, general. he’s been insufferable,” thire exhaled, “he’s in his office,” he concluded. you thanked the commander and made your way back to fox’s office.
it was quiet as you made your way back. your footsteps sounded heavy and pierced through the silence that sat in the hallway. it was always this quiet, and fox liked it that way.
you opened his office door, and settled your eyes on his figure. his helmet was off, displaying the mass of curls atop his head. one of his hands was resting on his cheek, while the other worked away on a datapad. the top half of his armor was removed, leaving him in his blacks. his muscle definition was easily seen from where you stood, and you bit your bottom lip to keep yourself in line. he was turned away from you, and it sent a bolt of electricity through your body.
you walked over to him and rested your hips against the desk. he still didn’t notice you.
“slacking, are we?” the sweet sound of your voice reached his ears, his head snapping around. his eyes met yours, and he immediately stood. he met you and enveloped you into his arms. your face buried itself into his neck, a smile spreading on your face as he gently swung you side to side.
“oh mesh’la,” he hummed, pressing his face into the crook of your neck. his hands held you tight, the ache in his chest blossoming into another feeling: love.
you pulled away, looking at him with a longing look in your eyes. fox slumped back down into his chair, guiding you onto his lap. it was an intimate position, you knew that, but it was a position that had you feel the warmth and love of your lover.
“i’ve missed you,” you spoke softly. he hummed in agreement.
with your legs straddling his waist, your eyes were fixated on his. you watched how his eyes filled with admiration, with that ache he felt in his chest. one of your hands went up to his hair, combing through the thick curls on top of his head. for a brief moment, fox closed his eyes, allowing himself to feel the shiver that crawled down his spine.
you pressed your forehead to his, a soft smile adorning your lips. fox’s hands rested at your hips, but his mind was elsewhere. your lips hovered over his, and he swore he could taste how sweet they were. his lips parted in desperation, and you answered that. your lips met his, and you were met with the hunger of fox. the desire, the ache that sat in his chest, and the love he had for you poured out of him like water. sighs escaped his nose as he kissed you, tasting you. he needed more, and with a small nip to your bottom lip, he asked for it. with parted lips, you granted that to him.
your hands were in his hair, but as the kiss deepened, as your hips shifted on his lap, your hands fell to cup his neck, your thumb caressing the soft and sensitive skin that peaked out above his blacks.
his tongue explored your mouth, taking all of you in. his hands maneuvered your top so that he felt the warmth of your skin. his thumbs massaged the skin of your hips, causing you to groan into the kiss. his hands moved up, wanting to feel and hear more of you. his thumbs crept higher and higher, closer to more sensitive areas that he knew would release a reaction from you. that’s what he wanted, he wanted to feel all of you.
you slowly pulled away, catching your breath for a moment. fox chased your lips, but took a few breaths of his own. his eyes were glazed over with pleasure, the desire that had been building all while you were gone. after a minute, he pressed a quick kiss to your lips. he pulled away, but then went in for a longer kiss.
“i need more of you, i need all of you,” he rasped before diving back in and kissing you with more ferocity than before. one hand went up to your neck, pulling you closer to him. his fingers entangled themselves in your hair, while his other hand stayed where it was, massaging your body as you felt warmth pool in your stomach. as much as you needed him, he needed you.
you adjusted your hips, creating friction between the two of you. a dangerous amount of pleasure shot through the both of you, creating a new ache that would have to be quenched. as you cupped the back of his neck, you parted your lips and slipped your tongue into his mouth. partnered with the friction, fox whimpered into your mouth. it fueled that fire, the fire that was already burning in your gut. your hands left his neck and trailed down his chest, leaving shivers wherever your fingers touched. your lips parted from his and went to kiss the skin under his ear, softer whines escaping fox’s parted lips.
then came the comm.
both of you simultaneously sighed. groans left fox as irritation and frustration built back up in him.
“commander, we need your help out here,” it was thire. of course it was thire.
“why can’t he handle it on his own?” fox groaned, tipping your chin to him and pressing a softer kiss to you.
“it’s thire, he’s not usually up there,” you answer into the kiss, pulling away.
“we’re not finished,” he told you, his eyes darkening. your eyes mirrored that feeling as you climbed off of him, straightening yourself out.
“oh, commander, we’re definitely not finished,” you hummed, watching as he put his armor and helmet on, walking out of the door.
this is probably the spiciest thing i’ve written and i’m lowkey proud of it. also hi hello i’m alive! hope you all are doing well, and if you have a request pls don’t be shy! send it!

Corrie: Senator Diqhed told me to report myself to you for mishandling his caf... Fox, sighing: Vod, you should have given that piece of osik a blaster bolt to the head, not bothered me with this. Corrie: Yes, sir. I'll head to the armory right away, sir. Fox: KRIFF! VOD, NO!

it’s canon to me that anakin skywalker and marshall commander fox are archnemeses of a shakespearean nature to eachother
why? well, fox’ life is a tragedy of galactic proportions. he’s a slave at best and straight up non-sentient property at worst, caught at the crossroads of being the face of the republic’s most corrupt establishment to his brothers who resent him for being forced to bear an authority he has no actual control over, and being the closest and easiest target for that very authority’s ire. made to enforce the rigged and deeply unjust laws against his own oppressed peoples, and no one understands better than fox how much coruscant truly despises them. the chancellor at the heart of it all, and anakin, the favored pupil - taken in by the flattery and empty promises like all the rest of them, the jedi most intimately connected to the senate who yet cares so little to know the clones who shed their blood in it every day that he never sees beyond his own very nose. no one asks the guard what they think, and fox despises them all for it, but the jedi who play at caring more than anything. it’s an impersonal, distanced dislike for the most part, but with skywalker it burns all the brighter for how often fox sees him walk the halls of the senate and never think to ask.
also fox cut anakin off in traffic once and he never forgave him for it
#commander fox#to be clear this is neither an anakin nor jedi hatepost#i just think the dynamic of genuine deeprooted existential hate vs petty fury that burns with the power of a thousand suns is so funny#also i love this flavor of hc about the guard: they live in a lovecraftian horror show which everyone else perceives as like the office#like imagine you’re watching michael scott shenanigans but to him there’s blood oozing out of the walls and formless shadows whispering in a#language that makes his eyeballs burn and sizzle like acid#i firmly believe fox to be extremely unimpressed with most jedi on principle but not in a like hateful way more like a disillusioned way#fox does not believe in clone rights because fox has lived on this hellhole for three years and knows how these fuckers work#bail organa is one of the very few people he likes on a personal level but any talk of clone rights bills just make him laugh#‘have you met your colleagues sir? because i have’#‘and we’ll all be throwing birthday parties in sith hell by the time they agree to that on moral principle’#‘or well you will be throwing tea parties in sith hell i’m not sentient so no afterlife’#i also believe anakin and fox would be fast friends if they ever actually spoke#to the detriment and danger of everyone around them to be clear

Well...That Esclated Quickly
Here is another idea that came to me during my walk to work. I want you to know, though it goes in a humorous direction it really is not a full fix-it.
When Order 66 went live, some of the chips did not activate. There is no rhyme nor reason as to which chips activate and which did not. Not a huge amount compared to the whole, but some. Enough that a few hundred Jedi and a Few thousand Clones regroup in the aftermath.
While you can fill in most of the blanks the following are included in my idea
Obi Wan Kenobi and a company’s worth of 212th clones, including Cody: Obi Wan was still shot off the cliff, to the horrified eyes of the still free clones. The still free clones don't have enough numbers to take on their brethren who appear to have gone insane, but do have enough to steal one of the midsized transport ships, one capable of hyperspace flight. They reluctantly allow Obi Wan to go to Coruscant on his own, with the rationale that one person can sneak to the surface much easier than a whole company, while the clones establish a regroup point. From there Obi Wan goes on the Mustafar, which ends as it did in canon. Obi Wan brings Padme to the transport ship where she still dies of complications of her pregnancy
Fox, Hound, a dozen other members of the CG, and the Younglings: Fox and the few members of the CG that were unaffected by O66 raced to beat the 501st to the Temple. They made it just a few minutes before their enslaved brothers. Just barely in time to evacuate the children in the creche with the help (and insistent sacrifice) of the adult Jedi. While there were a few Creche Masters evacuated with the children, it was now basically just Fox and his CG functionally in charge of baby Jedi ranging from Babies to Pre teens. They connect with remains of the 212th before the events of Mustafar.
Yoda, who did still have to kill his commander in order to escape, but was able to bring a few clones with him. They still end up being collected by Bail Organa.
Ahsoka, Rex, Jesse and a portion of the maintenance team for their battalion: They do not meet up with the rest for quite some time (at least three years). Rex’s chip did activate but he was able to get Ahsoka the message about Fives. After Rex is freed they find Jesse and the other free clones (soft shells all) looking on in horror at their controlled brethren. With the help of the maintenance team they are able to escape from the ship without freeing Maul or crashing into the moon. By the time they are able to look past the immediate situation, the Temple is already burning and it has been announced that the Jedi are traitors. These 25 or so go to ground in Mandalorian space and try to figure out how to free the clones from the chips (beyond surgery which really does not work with the numbers they have to deal with). They do not realize anyone else has survived.
Aayla survived, due to one of the clones (not Bly) pushing her out of the way and sacrificing his life for her. Bly’s chip does work. She escapes with two dozen free clones and six chipped clones tied up in the back (Including Bly, even the clones agree they cannot save everyone and hopefully it means that they can figure out what is going wrong).
Shaak Ti, 10 Veteran clones, 40 ‘Shinies’, 300 child and teenage cadets, three junior Kaminoan Scientists (not Nala Se) none of which knew about the chip or Order 66, and Omega. Shaak Ti had been working with a few Kaminoan Scientists to see the clones as sentients in their own right and the reactions of the clones under the chip's control horrified a few of those scientists. Between them and Omega, who had been paying attention and used this as a chance to escape the lab (the Bad Batch being off planet at the time) they were able to evacuate anyone not under the control of the chip.
All of these people (Barring Ahsoka and Co) converge on the ship that had been stolen by the free 212th clones. Had less children survived (about a third of the living Jedi are children under the age of 11, plus the cadets) they all would likely have split into small groups and made their own way through the galaxy. But there was just no way to break into small enough groups to be safe AND still make sure the children (and to some extent the Shinies) were taken care of. They were also too large a group to go anywhere in the Republic, or even anywhere in Mandalorian space (There were an awful lot of uninhabited planets in the galaxy but most were uninhabited for a reason). Thus there was only one thing they could do.
Take over the Hutt Empire.
To be fair the take over part did start out accidentally. The actual goal was to find a place to lay low in the Hutt Empire, possibly the only place Palpatine’s Empire could not reach quite yet(at least until Palpatine solidified his rule).
So they found a planet within the Hutt Empire to lay low on, While Bail Organa left to begin planting the seeds for the rebellion (No Leia as the twins were not being split up). As much as I want it to be Tattoine, it just has too small a population to not have a couple of thousand people (Most of whom hide their very distinctive faces) showing not be noticeable. So they choose a planet with a higher population.
This is where the trouble began. All of our adults are deeply traumatized, trained warriors who are not used to sitting by, universally feeling useless. They are facing an insurmountable task, still mostly directionless, and deeply angry at life.
It starts with the local Hutt’s minions trying to shake down some newcomers, who were not looking for a target to vent their spleen but found one just the same. It does not end well for the minions. Nor the next six attempts, with different groups of Clones and Jedi each time. No one has told Command yet, but they look at each other and ‘shit we can’t keep drawing attention to ourselves but we can’t leave either’
The solution (Commander Cody himself would like to reiterate this was not the correct solution)? Take out the Hutt. Then they realize that taking out the Hutt has just drawn more attention to this city as the other Hutts for the planet try to figure out who took out this one.
The next Solution? Take out the rest of the Hutts on the planet.
They have now drawn even more attention to the planet from yet more Hutts. This is the one thing that is critical they do not have.
The next Solution? Try three to make this plan work (Commander Cody reminds you that trying the same thing over and over again, hoping for different results, is the definition of insanity) and take out the Hutts looking for answers.
By the time that these small groups have admitted to Command (Obi Wan, Cody, Yoda, Shaak Ti, Fox) what is going on, a few months later, they have accidentally taken over the Hutt Empire.
The Hutt Empire that is still nominally allied with Palpatine’s Empire. The Hutt Empire that has to stay allied to Palpatine’s Empire if they do not want to draw the attention of the entire Imperial Forces to the largest concentration of living Jedi and free Clones in the galaxy. The Hutt Empire that no longer has any active Hutts.
In this the human centric leaning of Palpatine’s Empire is actually helpful. They very rarely wanted to deal with other species, so it was easy to appoint someone unknown but human to deal with the com calls and visits. It does mean that they have to make up a Hutt that they essentially have to play ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ with, a couple of times a year when a representative insists on meeting with the Hutt in charge.
Also the fact that Palpatine’s Empire is more interested in enslaving their own citizens for free as opposed to buying them from the Hutts means that they can shut down the slave trade within Hutt Space (over time). Fox both loves and hates running a criminal empire.
It should be noted that, even with Bly and the five other chipped clones, no one actually knows what is going on until Rex and Co find their way back to them. We are going with the thought that a level 5 atomic scan is a ludicrously high level of scanning. Like sitting on a Nuclear Reactor to get an X-Ray kind of ludicrous, so not only does no one think to do that level of scanning to see what is wrong, but they do not even have that kind of equipment readily available. The reports about Fives from Rex never made it to any kind of centralized repository, there is no way to know why most clones suddenly started to kill Jedi. Bly and Co spend the three years before Rex shows up in a makeshift brig, they can function almost normally until a Jedi is brought up or in the room with them.
Bail laughs his ass off when he is told, through several intermediaries and coded messages, that the Jedi and the Clones accidentally took over a criminal empire. Then he starts funneling the Path and the people his rebellion are rescuing into Hutt Space to find the Jedi.
Three years in Rex, Ahsoka, the clones with them (now having grown to nearly another thousand) arrive with the news that they can disable the chips from a distance of about a large cruiser.
That is how the Hutt Empire became freedom fighters.

New Fic: Follow Me Out of the Black
AO3 Link
Written for @sourfacedlemon in the 2024 Anakin-Clone Appreciation Exchange.
Fox/Anakin, Time-Travel fix-it, Kidnapping
Also I sent this discord message to a server I'm in
And was confirmed correct because reveals had sourfacedlemon tagging 'called it' lmao.
---------
Fox is not the most… personable of his brothers.
He’s not actively antisocial, or one of those clones who’s more comfortable with massifs than men, even fellow clones. He doesn’t have trouble meeting peoples’ eyes, or get nervous to hold a conversation. He’s not the best at people, but he’s not impeded by anything. He’s not incapable, just unwilling. A grump. Tired and a bit short-tempered.
That was before he spent the better part of a decade with his entire personhood filtered through the control chip that ARC trooperhad tried to warn them all about.
And, of course, before Darth Vader threw him out a window to his not entirely untimely death.
That, dying at Vader’s hand for a stupid reason that maybe would have been worth a demerit under a clone officer, is actually Fox’s last memory. In the moment, he’d thought it almost reasonable; his failure had led to the escape of a Jedi, at least momentarily, and then… who knows. Maybe Vader got her anyway.
He wakes up, and thinks wait, that’s a ridiculous reason to kill a high-ranking officer, and then promptly realizes he can think without something muddling him.
He stares at the ceiling, which does not contain several familiar scratches, and does contain some flimsi holopics taped where he can see them, which he distinctly remembers taking down after Order 66.
Which is an order that now does not make as much sense as it did at the time. Fox wasn’t close to any Jedi, but they were all unfailingly polite, and his brothers in high-ranking field battalions had largely had good things to say. Some of them loved their generals as much as a brother. They wouldn’t have turned as quickly as Fox himself had, and yet.
And yet.
Fox stares at the holopics, thinking about what he knows, about the Sith Lord that is the Emperor, about the Sith Lord that once was—is?—Anakin Skywalker, about how many of his brothers killed their Jedi despite Fox being quite certain they’d have rather died than do so. He thinks about the control chip he’s now fairly certain was an actual mind control device and not just an emotional regulator.
Fox stares, and thinks, and then gets out of bed.
Fox is not personable, and that’s okay.
He’s got other skills to rely on.
--
It takes Fox four hours of planning, six hours of setting traps for Sidious, three days of putting together backups, and two weeks of waiting for Skywalker to be on planet and visit the old bastard himself.
It then takes him thirty seconds to tell Thorn that he’s in charge for a bit, two hours to arrive at the Senate building, and about three minutes to let Skywalker say goodbye to the Chancellor and get out of the man’s sight. It then takes some forty-five seconds to approach him, ask for help with something, and lead the man into a dark service hallway.
Three hours later, Skywalker wakes up in the interrogation room cum holding cell that Fox has set up about thirty levels below CoCo town.
“What’s going on?” Skywalker mumbles. He notices the Force cuffs before he’s fully awake, and jerks a bit as he tugs on them. It pulls him awake faster. “Wh—fierfek, what have you done to me? You can’t be a clone, they—”
“Chancellor’s a Sith Lord.”
Skywalker stares at him. Fox takes off his helmet to show his face, just so Skywalker knows that he is, in fact, a clone.
“…what?” Skywalker manages. “You—”
“Chancellor’s a Sith Lord,” Fox repeats. “I don’t have real proof. You are going to help me get it.”
“The Chancellor,” Skywalker says, slowly, like he’s convinced Fox is the crazy one, “is not a Sith Lord. The Jedi would know.”
“Jedi are busy, and Sidious is a good liar,” Fox dismisses. “You, he likes you. He wants to make you his next apprentice, after he has Dooku taken out. He’ll call you Vader. The armor is going to be stupid.”
Skywalker just stares at him.
“I’m not crazy,” Fox says, even though that does in fact make him sound crazy. “I’m from the future.”
That probably makes him sound crazier.
“The Chancellor is a good man,” Skywalker says. “I am sure this is all just some… massive misunderstanding, and if you let me go, I’ll get you to the mind healers and we can figure out what put these ideas in your head.”
Fox smiles. The word ‘mirthlessly’ comes to mind. “Nobody put ideas in my head until a Sith Lord activated a mind control chip, and then the idea was ‘kill all Jedi.’”
Skywalker stares at him.
“Including the babies.”
Skywalker keeps staring.
“But you—Vader—did most of the baby-killing, or so I heard. I was busy keeping the better members of the Senate from trying to investigate. Organa was a hard sell.”
“I would not—why would I kill Jedi?”
Oh good, he’s responding. “I don’t know. You joined Sidious for power, or something. Amidala was pregnant when she died, that was all over the news. I wasn’t listening to gossip, because my brain was all work, all the time, because of the mind control, but I guess it could have been yours.”
Fox doesn’t know what Skywalker and Amidala’s relationship is. Could be a one-night stand, for all Fox knows, but he thinks they’re close friends, at least.
“She’s pregnant?” Skywalker asks. He sounds a little broken. Plaintive? Is that the word?
“No,” Fox says. “She’d have gotten pregnant… a few months from now? I don’t know exactly how far along she was, or how natborns progress. She looked pretty big, though.”
Skywalker stares at him some more. Man, the guy’s got eyes like a holostar, or one of those cherubs on the Corellian churches. Fox bets he’d look nice crying.
“All of this hit the fan about a year from now,” Fox tells him. “We have time, but not much. Also, Sidious has a million backup plans, so we need to act fast, and be unpredictable.”
“So you had to kidnap me?” Skywalker demands.
“Of course,” Fox says. “He’d be suspicious if I just started palling around with you, or whatever it is the shinies call it.”
“You are maybe two years older than them,” Skywalker points out.
“More like twelve,” Fox corrects. “But that’s not the point. I also had to get you somewhere I could make sure he wouldn’t be able to spy on us, and where you couldn’t storm out because you were mad that I was telling you you’re destined to be a baby-killer or that your precious Chancellor is a Sith.”
Fox is pretty sure the only reason Skywalker isn’t doing that already is because he’s convinced Fox lost his mind and just needs to come down from the drugs or whatever. Fox can understand; he’d be tossing anyone saying this banthakark into a drunk tank or to the medics, himself. He certainly hadn’t taken that ARC seriously.
“Why me?” Skywalker asks.
Fox shrugs. “It had to be you, obviously. All else aside, getting you in my corner instead of another Jedi gives me an edge, because you are the one Jedi that Palpatine might hesitate to kill. He’s put a lot of time into making Vader happen, even already, and he wants to get you to be his Sith apprentice. That means he wants you alive, and on side, and maybe he'll try to talk you into joining him before going for the kill.”
“I won’t join a Sith.”
“You will,” Fox says, simple as syrup, “given the right pressures, you will. Our goal here is to make it so those pressures don’t come to pass, and that means cutting the head off the snake and sweeping the legs out from under the devil.”
Fox has, perhaps, read a few too many Corellian novels recently. He likes the ones about this ‘hell’ place. Seems cozy.
“If I let you go, will you hear me out?” Fox asks. He’s not planning on actually letting Skywalker go, but he can let the man stand. The cuffs stay on. “I’m going to get this chip removed now, while you’re here, so I have at least some evidence for part of the story. That way you can check it yourself for whatever code dictates the orders.”
“The chip. In your head.”
“I wouldn’t have brain surgery on a whim,” Fox confirms, “so I think it makes for a good proof that I’m not just staging this somehow.”
Skywalker actually gapes this time.
Fox waits.
“Fine,” Skywalker finally says. “I’ll stick around long enough for the brain surgery, and to decode the chip, and then we can… reassess or what have you.”
“Great.”
“Can I at least call Obi-Wan to tell him I won’t be making it to dinner?”
Fox waves a hand. “No, no, I already took care of that.”
The look he gets is almost insulting. It’s almost like Skywalker forgot that Fox is a highly trained military police officer with top-level security codes and the legal right to invade peoples’ privacy.

soft mornings — clone trooper headcanons
summary — what soft mornings look like with some of our favorite troopers
warnings — painstakingly soft, gn!reader, some cheeky moments with cody, might be a part 2
note — UH YEAH ITS BEEN A MINUTE HI! this won the poll so it’s FINALLY out. sorry if it sucks…pls enjoy!
arc trooper fives
shore leave with fives is not short of fun
but there’s also moments where the two of you just need to relax together
you’re sipping a cup of caf one morning, reading something on your datapad when fives walks in, his hair tousled which is coupled with the grey sweatpants
aka he’s lookin fine af
he sits down next to you on the couch, and you watch him as he settles his head on your shoulder
fives is clingy, but especially in the mornings
you set your datapad down on your lap, and with your free hand your buried your fingers into his hair and massaged his scalp.
which earned you several grunts and moans from fives
“you’re a mess,” you would tell him, and he’d only bring himself closer to you, wrapping his arms around your middle.
“but i’m your mess,” he’d look up at you with the biggest brown eyes full of love and ugh
once that man gets caf in his system though it’s over
captain rex
due to unpopular belief, rex is not a morning person
like he would rather be stuck in bed, curled up with a blanket than be anywhere else
so when he is on shore leave, the bed is his best friend
not that you would be complaining
the sun would be peaking through the curtains, brushing against his skin, casting shadows on his muscles.
aka he looks ethereal
you sit yourself on your elbows, running a hand over his back and leaning over to press kisses between his shoulder blades
rex just groans, not wanting to wake up and face the day, but also the feeling of your touch is sending him through the roof.
“good morning, my love,” you would hum in between kisses to his shoulder blades
“mornin’,” he mumbled back.
aka an absolute softie
mornings with rex are always soft, always warm, and always safe
rex has never felt safer whenever he’s with you on shore leave
captain howzer
now this man, THIS MAN, is a morning person and boy does it show
he loves getting up before you when he’s on shore leave, making you breakfast and a hot cup of caf
he loves the quiet mornings despite how rare they are
you’d get up after feeling his lack of being there, following the smell of breakfast
you’d wander into the kitchen, find howzer standing with his back to you
shirt off ofc
you’d wrap your arms around his middle and rest your cheek between his shoulder blades
a very sweet and very warm moment for the both of you.
the feeling of your arms around him secures him in place, it tells him he’s ok.
you’re his safe place
“smells absolutely amazing,” you hummed, earning a deep chuckle from howzer
“glad it does, it means i’m not burning it,” he replied as he twisted his body to kiss you on top of your head.
howzer loves cooking, even if he’s not that great at it
you definitely teach him
mornings with howzer are soft, but be ready because the slowness to the morning doesn’t last long with him
commander cody
if there’s anyone out of this bunch who’s cheeky in the mornings it’s cody
but he has his soft moments too
he doesn’t stay in one position all night, he’s definitely one who will fall asleep one way and wake up another.
he wakes up first, and when he sees you’re still asleep?
he thinks it’s the cutest thing ever
he’ll watch you for a bit before he brings you closer to him, wrapping you in his arms
you would slowly wake up, but would melt right back into his touch.
it would be all soft, cody running his fingers up and down your back
and then he’d start kissing your neck
“cody!” you would squeal out in surprise
“what? you’re my breakfast,” he’d say casually
“whatever, lover boy,” you would blush.
his hands would roam, but they would respectfully
he never would do anything you weren’t comfortable with
so, mornings with him were always a little cheeky, but always soft and warm
commander wolffe
wolffe isn’t used to being on shore leave, no matter how many times he’d done it
but for some reason whenever he started dating you he eased up
clearly there’s an obvious reason
mornings are rough for him
he’s up early, sitting in the living room, with his sweats on and a hot cup of caf in his hands
mind you it’s not even light out
but you feel an absence without him, so you crawl out of bed and wander into the living room
“hun?” you softly called to him, and he turned his head to face you
wolffe definitely doesn’t get good sleep
so, when he sees you wander into the living room, his shoulders sag and he relaxes.
“couldn’t sleep, so just came out here,”
you sit yourself in his lap, and he absolutely loves it
he loves you being close to him; it helps him relax and it does help him sleep
the two of you would sit there, in silence, and wolffe would focus on you and your presence
you’re his grounding point, and no matter how quickly sleep evades him, you always manage to help him rope it in
commander fox
we all know that fox isn’t a morning person. like, at all.
when he gets a chance to sleep in, much less sleep at all, he’s sleeps HARD
fox is also a cuddle bug, fight me
like he wants to be close to you, but he doesn’t want nor like anyone knowing that about him
mornings with him are always started with him refusing to wake up
“we’ve got to get up, my love,” you’d groan, trying to wiggle out of the tight grasp he had you in
“i’m off, no we don’t,” he’d mumble into your neck, causing shivers to crawl down your body.
so you would lay there, your fingers threading through fox’s curls
he’d feel the safest with you, he’d feel seen by you, and those two things were the most important things to him, besides you of course
“what if i make you breakfast and caf?” you hum into his ear
now, that gets him going
“i’ll get up for that, especially since you’re making it,” he lifted his head out of the crook of your neck and kissed you
you’d end up laying there still, by the way
probably end up falling back asleep because who wouldn’t want to cuddle fox and tell him he’s gonna be ok

I just really started to think about the Royal throuples Sibling Experiences, and it's just
Breha, an only child, grew up in a free world with a matriarchal society where she was placed as the girl/woman of the place
Bail, has three sisters, also grew up in a free world with a matriarchal society
Fox, has 200k brothers with million more well on the way, grew up in an isolated world where him and everybody else were brought up to be essentially Gym Bros with Extra Baggage ™️
I don't know what this all means. But it means something.
#no I do not accept breha having a sister bc the owk showrunners cannot read#bail has drank so much respect women juice during his life#like I really think that he started drinking it after coming out of the womb#fox. fox uh. has never even met a girl before he was given a gun and told to shoot but for realsies now#we can all just imagine how this all pans out#in my opinion? fox becomes a raging feminist real quick lmao#sw#tcw#Breha Organa#Bail Organa#Commander Fox#bail/breha/fox

Welcome to the Chaos
Anakin Skywalker x Reader
Masterlist - Join My Taglist!
Written for Fictober 2024!
Requested by @ghostofskywalker! Hope you like it Tori, and hope I did the clones justice! ❤️
Fandom: Star Wars
Day Fourteen Prompt: "Did you stick to the plan?"
Summary: Commander Fox is about to learn just how true the stories about are the 501st when he joins them on a Separatist raid in the Outer Rim.
Word Count: 2,037
Category: Fluff, Humor
A/N: This can be read as platonic or romantic with Anakin! "Partner" here can mean mission parter, romantic partner, or both!
Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
"Are they here yet?"
I sighed, looking over the mini base camp the 501st had set up to stage our attack. Still no new ships in the landing zone, and none in sight coming in.
"Not yet," I said into my comm, responding to my best friend and partner Anakin Skywalker. He'd taken off to set up the last thing we needed to prepare before engaging with the enemy, taking Rex and Fives with him while I waited here for the last members of our party to join us.
"Well what's taking them so long?" Anakin's voice came back, whining through the comm. "We have an operation to conduct here."
"Beats me. This is the first time I've heard of the Coruscanti Guard joining us way the hell out here for a mission. Maybe they got lost."
"Cody's been out here before, they shouldn't be lost." I rolled my eyes at Anakin's tone, but didn't say anything. "Commander Fox is joining us all the way in the Outer Rim—that's how important this Separatist stash is. We can't just wait around here much longer without losing our window."
Unfortunately, Anakin was right. Not only did this Separatist base hold invaluable information and supplies we could use, it apparently held some items of very specific importance for the Chancellor. I hadn't cared enough to get the details on them, especially because that's why Commander Fox was being sent out here in the first place—to secure whatever it was the Chancellor was so concerned about.
"Well... let's switch to Plan B, then. That way we can get started as soon as you get back, whether or not Cody and Fox make it here in time."
I could hear Anakin's smile even over the crackle of the comm.
"I was hoping you'd say that. Over and out, see you in a minute."
I grinned and put my comm away. Anakin and I had come up with Plan B first, but after dicussion with Cody and Obi-Wan, it'd been replaced by the more boring, playing-it-safe Plan A. Thankfully, the 501st always managed to be on the same page. We could all switch to Anakin, Rex, and I's preferred plan without batting an eye.
Not five minutes after we'd officially changed the plan, a small troop transport ship came swooping down. The doors opened, and Commander Cody led the way towards us, Commander Fox next to him and the rest of the reinforcements from the 212th following right behind.
I grinned and gave Cody a wave as they approached. We'd worked together plenty of times before, and he and the rest of the 212th were my favorite group to work with, other than my own 501st. They weren't usually as crazy as us by any means, but they knew exactly who and what we were, and could hold their own.
Commander Fox, on the other hand, was new. I'd met him a few times in his role leading the Coruscant Guard, but we'd never worked together in the field. He seemed pretty good at his job, so hopefully, he'd be able to keep up with Anakin and I with no problems.
"General," said Cody, his voice formal as he stopped before me with a salute. Fox copied him, and I grinned. "It's good to see you."
"Likewise, Codes. Although you're a little late."
"Are we?" Cody frowned, his eyes shooting immediately to the time display on his wrist. Commander Fox frowned, stepping forward with a serious look on his face.
"My apologies, General. That's my fault. The commander was delayed while I collected some details about the specific things the Chanellor is hoping to capture in this raid."
"Don't worry about it, Fox," I said, waving him off with a grin. "I was mostly just giving Cody a hard time. We're happy to have you both out here!"
Fox gave a serious nod, which I chose to focus on instead of Cody's frown.
"It's an honor to be working with the 501st. Commander Cody briefed me on the plan on our way here, and I'm ready to do my part where you need me."
"About that-"
Before I could say another word, Anakin, Rex, and Fives came rushing in, matching grins on their faces that I knew well. Plan B involved significantly more chaos than Plan A, and I knew Anakin was as happy about that as I was.
"Okay, we're all set," said Anakin, coming to a stop beside me. He bumped my shoulder with his and gave me a boarderline maniacal look. "You ready?"
"You know I am. Did you stick to the plan?"
"Of course. I always do."
Our very own voice of reason Commander Cody couldn't quite hold back a snort. He quickly marshalled his expression as Anakin, Fox, Rex, Fives, and I all turned to look at him. The rest of the 501st and I had raised eyebrows, while Fox looked a little concerned.
"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that," said Anakin, his narrowed eyes staying on Cody for a few extra beats. I made the mistake of making eye contact with Fives and barely managed to hold back a snort of my own.
"Alright, enough of this," I said, taking Anakin's arm to check the timer on his wrist. As expected, we were seconds away from zero. "It's time to move out! Fox and Rex, you're with me. Cody and Fives, with Ani."
All four clones saluted me, then dropped their salutes less than a second later when our explosives went off. They shook the ground we stood on, and within a few moments, we could hear the shrieking of the droid soldiers we'd caught by surprise.
"What was that?" exclaimed Fox. Anakin and I just shared a grin.
"That was the plan!" Rex answered for us. I reached out and took Anakin's hand, giving it one last squeeze for luck along with a wink, before the two of us took our boys in different directions.
"That was not the plan!" Fox shouted, following along with Rex and I anyway. I shared a grin with Rex.
"It was our plan!"
I heard a disgruntled grunt from Fox, but to his credit, he quickly fell into step with Rex and I. The two of us moved like a well oiled machine, especially since Rex had spent so long with the 501st and our shenanigans, but Fox managed to keep pace and hold his own incredibly well. In the midst of all the chaos from the explosions, we moved along the right side of the battlefield like a whirlwind, clearing one side while Anakin, Fives, and Cody took the other. The rest of our troops and Cody's 212th reinforcements cut through the center like a hot knife through butter.
Unfortunately for us, the droids managed to get organized before we managed to route them. We'd cleared about half of the space when a droid tank came to life, whirling on the three of us cutting along the sideline.
"Rex!"
"On it, General! Fox, come on!"
Fox looked confused, but he didn't bat an eye as he followed Rex, charging ahead of me and closing distance with the tank. I grinned, especially as I watched Rex take command of the situation with ease despite his technically lower rank.
"Take a knee with your right side facing the tank!" he shouted. Fox looked like he was about to ask a question, but Rex beat him to it as he jumped and I extended my hand. "Just do it!"
I caught Rex halfway through his jump, using the Force to lift him up and onto the top of the droid tank. Luckily for both of us, Fox trusted Rex and I enough to follow Rex's instructions. Just as he got his foot planted and took a knee, I jumped, landing on Fox's thigh and pushing off to join Rex on top of the tank. I grinned at Fox and shouted at him as I jumped past.
"Good! Now fire at the thing!"
Moving like one connected being, Fox used enough heavy weaponry to keep the tank from moving too far forward. I cut the thing open with my lightsaber, and Rex fired a few quick rounds through the hole I'd made to take out the droids and the tank as one. It sank to the ground in a heap, leaving Fox directly in front of it and Rex and I triumphantly on top.
"Nice work," I said with a grin, high-fiving Rex and jumping down to do the same with Fox. He gave me the high-five despite shaking his head, then stood up with a huff.
"Now I know what Commander Cody was trying to warn me about," he said. "It's nice to know the younger clones weren't telling tall tales about what goes on in the 501st."
"Massive, epic successes?" I guessed. Rex grinned at me, and when Fox shook his head again, this time it was with a smile.
"Exactly, General."
It didn't take us long to clear the rest of the battlefield. When we'd finished, Rex and I shared another high-five, then met up with Anakin, Cody, and Fives in the center of the former chaos.
"Well done you three," Anakin said as he came over to us. "That was a nice move with the tank. I'm especially impressed with how well you kept pace, Commander Fox."
"Right?" I exclaimed, jumping in before Fox could answer. "You're practically an honorary member of the 501st! That was incredible!"
Fox gave us a salute and a slightly uncertain looking smile.
"Thank you, Generals."
Cody smiled and clapped a hand on Fox's shoulder.
"Don't worry. You get used to it."
Anakin, Rex, Fives, and I shared a conspiratorial smile. Watching uninitiated people try to deal with the way we did things was one of our collective favorite passtimes, and this had been no exception.
After another moment enjoying the aftermath, I sighed.
"Alright, we should probably wrap up and get out of here. Rex, Fives, can you two go with Cody and Fox to secure whatever it is the Chancellor's looking for? We need to get that to him as soon as possible."
Rex and Fives both saluted.
"Yes, General."
Anakin sighed and draped an arm across my shoulders as we watched the rest of our group walk away. I couldn't be totally sure what they were talking about, but I had a feeling it involved Commander Fox debriefing about the somewhat unorthodox methods he'd just witnessed from the 501st. Luckily for us, I knew Rex and Fives loved it, and even though he liked to be the voice of reason, I knew Cody enjoyed it, too. I knew they'd bring Fox around to the same page, even if we'd been a pretty big surprise today.
"Well, that went well," said Anakin happily. I smiled and leaned into his side.
"It sure did. We've got a damned good group, which helps."
"Sure does. What do you think Fox would do if we asked him to stick around with us for a few drinks once we get this place cleaned out?"
I laughed. "I guess we won't know until we ask him, will we? It is a post-battle tradition for the 501st, after all."
"Exactly. How else are we supposed to get close enough to regularly throw each other over walls and onto tanks?"
"Training?"
Anakin scoffed. "There's no training for the situations we regularly find ourselves in. Or for the ways we have to get ourselves out of them."
"I agree," I said, turning to face him with a grin. "So... last one to find valuable supplies and Separatist information has to do a handstand while singing in front of the whole group tonight?"
Anakin smirked. "You better start practicing your song."
"Not a chance, flyboy!" I shouted over my shoulder as I took off running through the battle remnants. I heard Anakin shout a "Hey!" behind me, but I ignored him as I raced through the destroyed supplies, ships, and droids. I tore past Cody, Fox, Rex, and Fives and saw a raised eyebrow or two, but I didn't stop to explain.
I had a bet to win, after all, and the best way to be initiated to the chaos of the 501st was to jump in head-first with questions later, anyway.

Catch me thinking of Commander Fox time traveling back to his first week on Coruscant, waking up screaming and clawing at a lightsaber wound that wasn't there. It takes an hour to realize he wasn't dead now, that his armor was a basic Corrie red that Fox had almost forgotten from so long ago. He's younger now, without the aches and pains due to years of torture at the hands of Palpatine, and that hits him like a freight train when he realizes it's early in the War.
So many are alive, he is alive, his small beginnings of a soul that never had a chance to grow has been resewn, ripped from him piece by piece during the War until he was a husk that dies at the hand of a monster.
The air, despite being thick with the smog of a city that never stills, is the sweetest thing in the galaxy when he sneaks out to a covert he had frequented in another life.
His soldiers see a change, a man who was slightly fumbling with how to instill their hand as Guardians suddenly seemed to have changed overnight. There's a weariness behind his eyes now, and he moves as if he should be older, more pained, yet catches himself as he gets them into patrols that are better coordinated and safer in the long run. Fox also has them set about setting up a rotation within the Jetti temple, and while the Jetti are confused, some of them are happy to speak with the troops.
As predicted, one of the Jetti who Fox had met in passing takes an interest in the clones without a Jetti to lead them, and Quinlan Vos makes the choice without much fuss. Palpatine is irritated, but all Fox cares about as he's lashed out at with lightning is that his men will be safe this time. The pain hurts skin that hadn't toughened up over time, but Fox doesn't utter a sound and merely pretends to let the Sith order him to forget.
The chip doesn't work now, but better to play pretend until he can strike.
A coded message he sends out, one that would seem a glitch to clones who didn't understand, is eventually answered with the arrival of Captain Rex, Commander Wolffe, and men from various units. It's phrased as a random check from units in the field, but they all share the same haunted eyes and only need look at each other to know.
Rex holds his ori'vod close that night, silencing the thousands of apologies with a small shake of his head. This time they won't let it happen, they won't let the cracks that went unheeded grow until the galaxy collapses in on itself, no they'll prevent the cracks from growing in the first place.
When they begin planning, secret communiques with forces that grow the more they let others in on their terrible future, Fox can feel that it's going to work.
It better, or by spit or hatred, he'll come back over and over until he succeeds.
He's not going to lose this time, you can count on it.
